High Holidays

The High Holidays at Ramat Shalom

While COVID-19 is making it quite challenging for us to plan a meaningful High Holiday experience for all of us at Ramat Shalom, we are working very hard to ensure that we welcome the new Jewish year spiritually and safely as a united community. Please take comfort in knowing that all holiday services will be broadcast live online so that you and your immediate family can enjoy Ramat Shalom from the comfort of your homes. You can even access our Machzor (High Holiday Prayer Book) online and download it by clicking HERE.

Please be sure to review the schedule of services below.

We will be offering in person, abbreviated services for small groups of congregants and their families. Free tickets will be required. These tickets will be given out on a first come, first served basis. Congregants who would like to attend one of our in-person High Holiday Services should email your name and the names of those joining you to ramatshalom@ramatshalom.org. Please note, we ask that everyone who attends our person services adheres to our COVID-19 Safety Protocols.

In between Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur, we will be inviting individuals and families to spend some personal time in the sanctuary with the Torah scrolls. Only one individual/family will be admitted at a time and reservations will need to be made. Congregants are invited to make reservations by emailing the office at ramatshalom@ramatshalom.org.

Finally, we invite congregants and their families to join us in our parking lot for a few outdoor holiday services. These services will be broadcast on your FM car radio (yes, they will still be broadcast online). You can choose to stay in your car or bring lawn chairs and sit, socially distanced from others, in a reserved parking spot. To reserve a parking spot, please email ramatshalom@ramatshalom.org.

Our outdoor Tashlich Service is open to everyone.
